Helping Hearts Heal 

Leroy Erzinger passed away on Wednesday July 23rd at his home in West Planes Missouri. Leroy was born July 13 1936, at West Plains Missouri to Edmond and Virda Erzinger. On July 2, 1957 he was married to Evalena Ann Bryan, who preceded him in death on July 16th 2018. They shared 61 years of marriage together. Leroy was a minister, taught Sunday school and led several bible study-groups. He wrote poetry and songs using bible verses as his inspiration. Leroy enjoyed making cabinets and fishing. He lived in Palm Bay Florida most of his adult life before moving back to Missouri in 2019. While in Florida he was the owner and operator of a construction company for over forty-two years. He often hired troubled people in the area and was a mentor to most of them. Leroy served on the board of directors for Hope Ministries and supported our ministry ever since 1994 when we first opened our doors. He is survived by two children, Alan Erzinger, Palm Bay, Florida, and Linda Erzinger and husband, James May, Louisville, Kentucky; one grandson, Jarred Erzinger; 3 brothers, Paul Erzinger and wife, Opal, St. Louis, Missouri, George Erzinger and wife, Linda, West Plains, Missouri, and John Erzinger and wife, Beverly, Sullivan, Missouri; one sister, Julia Hopkins, West Plains, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews. His Parents, wife, one brother, Phil Erzinger, and one sister, Laura Peterman, preceded him in death.
