Shelter from the Storm Support Group.
Did you know?
- Every fourth woman you see may have experienced sexual abuse as a child.
- One in every five women suffered child sexual abuse by a family member.
- In addition to the children who are sexually abused, many adults have been
assaulted by an acquaintance or stranger.
The book the group will cover is designed to help you:
- Grow from a survivor to an over comer – even a thriver.
- Recognize old coping skills that no longer work and help you learn new life skills.
- Experience the support of compassionate and caring women, as you seek recovery
from the effects of sexual abuse.
- To put your faith and trust in God through Christ to restore your spiritual and emotional health.
