HOPE MINSITRIES NEWSLETTER
“Hope’s Summer of 2008”
PRAISE BE TO JESUS!!
Ministries continue to live on and to thrive in the reality of Christ in us the Hope of Glory!!! These last few months have gone by so quickly and God is continuing to knit us together; to be an intricate working part of the “Body of Christ” upon this earth. This is a special time for all of us, as we accept the truth of Christ throughout our ministry functions. We remain firm in our objective to “Help Hearts Heal” and all of you are called to support Hope as he calls you to pray,to give of your time (volunteer) and maybe even of your finances. Hope is good soil to invest in; the yields are great and we all
have a part of Her. I pray for you and your children this summer to have a safe, fun time together and I pray for you!
May the Lord bless you and keep you!
May the Lord make His face to shine upon you
and be gracious to you!
May the Lord turn his face toward you and give you His Peace!
In Christ, Joe

On June 24, 2008, Hope Ministries paid Tribute to Alice and this Ministry!
What a blessing it was to hear from those who have known Alice through working with her and those whom she has helped! She works tirelessly to accomplish her mission. She is a blessing and inspiration to all who know her. Although she has retired from Hope Ministries, she is still ministering. Her presence will be missed here at Hope but her heart will always remain in our heart!!
Now that some time has passed and I have some perspective, I can truly say that the class gave me the tools to allow God to heal me from very long-held fears of abandonment and rejection. It was like a very big weed, even at times a tree that was choking out all the good that God wanted for my life. From time to time, He would run over it with a lawn mower or even chop it down, but because the root was still there it grew back even bigger each time. The safety of the group and the slow progressive walk through the steps helped me to open my heart; let the Lord dig deep and pull those fears out by the root.
For the first time in my life, I can honestly say that I love the Lord with no reservations, and that there is nothing on earth I desire more than Him. I understand and revel in the joy of my salvation. I am beginning to really grasp the depth of his love for me.
Words cannot express my gratitude, for all you (Hope Ministries) have done to facilitate my healing. I look forward to more, because I know, He is not finished yet!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow! What a wonderful testimony, from one of the attendee’s of our Conquering
Codependency Group facilitated by Lucy Mundy and Diana Sivadon. For information on the next class, visit our
web site at www.hopeministriesflorida.org .
BE A PARTNER IN HOPE TO “HELP HEARTS HEAL"
Hope’s PR & Development Department
The Summer of 2008 is well under way and we are not slowing down! The Development Department continues to “develop” our website, newsletter, community events, and grant applications. We are also improving our facilities with fresh paint, decorations and are enjoying new furnishings donated by The Fountains, a local luxury retirement community. Artist, Myra White, created a beautiful banner that is proudly displayed in our newly decorated Reception Room. These efforts are all made under the leading of the Holy Spirit and through the excellent work of my dedicated Assistant and our supportive Staff. Together we are enjoying the “fruit of our labor.”
While we are making great strides to improve communication, our facilities and increase grant applications, we are asking God for a miracle by increasing our monthly donations 5,000 a month. Hope Ministries has been here to “Help Hearts Heal” since 1994 and offers our various services at no charge. If you would like to become a Hope Ministries supporter; are led to increase your donation; or make a one time contribution, you may easily do so by using the enclosed self addressed envelope or through our website @ www.hopeministriesflorida.org.
Thank you for supporting the Healing work of our Lord here at Hope and we pray that He continues to bless you beyond measure. Enjoy this Summer 2008! Diana Sivadon / Director of Development
THE LOCAL CHURCH SPOTLIGHT
CHURCH FORTHE BEACH
Welcome to Church for the Beach!
JIM CAPLE, PASTOR
Meeting at Doubles' Beachside on Sunday at 9:30am
1894 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach
Our name - Church for the Beach - not only reminds us who we are - "church" - (ekklesia - "the called out ones"), but also why we have been called out; "for the beach"; for the salvation of those who don't know Jesus yet; for the encouragement and building up of those who do as we spread God's glory and the Good News across this island as lead by the Lord.
Does that mean we're excluding the mainlanders? No way. As we reach the beach, our prayer is that the mainland will be effected also, but God has clearly called us to reach out on the beachside with His love, forgiveness and plan for everyone who has built 'an island' on the island.
Vision: Church for the Beach is committed to connecting, building and transforming lives through genuine relationships with Jesus and His family. If you do not have a church home and live in the area, we invite you to visit Church for the Beach. For more information visit the website @ www.churchforthebeach.com.
Church for the Beach has also been a faithful supporter and friend of Hope Ministries. On behalf of Hope Ministries’ Board of Directors, the President and the staff, we honor God by spotlighting Church for the Beach this month. We pray that God will continue to bless the work of your hands, as you continue to build and transform lives through relationships with our Lord Jesus and His family.
