FEAR NOT: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11

In the world these days there isn’t much news that begins with the phrase “Fear Not”. How wonderful it is to be reminded once again that we do not have to be afraid.
Our God is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Heb. 13:8)  He will never leave us or forsake us. So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Heb. 13:5-6)

God has faithfully met the needs of the Mundy family and Hope Ministries this year even though we have had some challenging situations to deal with. We are praising Him for His love and care.
  • This time last year, Howard was dealing with kidney stones that were infected and then diverticulosis. He was hospitalized three times between November and February. He has since found that citric acid (lemonade) and a very high fiber diet are critical for him. He currently has NO kidney stones!
  • Howard began a part time job in August. He is a courtesy driver for a local car dealer. It is great for him to have work and the salary is nice also!
  • We were able to help Jessica, Andrew and our grandsons move to Charlottesville, Virginia in July. Andrew has a full scholarship to UVA medical school. He just finished his first semester. It has been a huge adjustment for the whole family, but adjust they have. God blessed them with their first house after seven years of renting. Jack (3) and Austin (1) are growing up too fast and too far away to suit us, but they are thriving and we hope to put a webcam on our computer soon so we can see and talk to them.
  • The “boys” – Tim, Caleb, and Micah are doing well. Caleb is still in Nashville, Tim and Micah in Melbourne. They all have jobs, a very good thing these days, and Micah and Caleb are still involved in their music careers as much as possible.
  • Hope Ministries had extensive flooding in our offices as a result of Hurricane Fay. We had to close for several weeks and then move to a new location. We like our new facility very much and were pleased when we found that it would be perman-ent. Our new address is 1805 Canova St., Suite 1 Palm Bay, Fl. 32909
Hope Ministries celebrated its 14th birthday this August. Howard was a part of the ministry until his retirement January of 2007and is currently discipling two men outside of the office. I (Lucy) have been able to continue to be a part of the ministry calling of HELPING HEARTS HEAL. We continue to be grateful to you for the prayers, financial support and love bestowed on us.

The Lord bless you, and keep you:
The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
